President & Chief Executive Officer: Scott Hess email Scott Hess is a Designated Managing Broker in Washington and is well known for his professionalism, knowledge, and integrity in the industry. He first and foremost provides attention to property details, employee training, and meeting all of our clients’ needs. He is President of the Southwest Chapter of Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington, Inc., sits on its Board of Directors, and is Chairperson of Committee to Protect Property Rights. Scott is politically active in Washington and Oregon as it affects the MHC industry and served as President of MHCW. Scott earned his master's degree in educational administration from Central Washington University. He is dedicated to providing superior real estate and property management services to our clients.
Chief Operating Officer: Erik Hess email Erik Hess is the Chief of Operations for Sterling Properties Real Estate Services. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington and a licensed Property Manager in Oregon. He graduated from San Diego State University where he earned his Master's in Business Administration. While at SDSU Erik specialized in Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Small Business Operations. Erik brings solid experience to Sterling Properties Real Estate Services and supports our goal to provide the best property management services in the Pacific Northwest.
Chief Development Officer & General Counsel: Bjorn Hess email Bjorn Hess is the Chief of Business Development and General Counsel for Sterling Properties Real Estate Services. Bjorn is a licensed attorney in both Washington and Oregon. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. After working in Washington DC and spending a summer in Europe Bjorn attended graduate school and law school at Texas Tech University where he earned his Masters of Science in Personal Financial Planning and his Juris Doctorate. When Bjorn is not at Sterling Properties Real Estate Services you can find him skiing, boating with his dog Kona, and spending time with his family in the great outdoors.
Staff Accountant: Audrey Doering email Audrey Doering is a member of Sterling Properties Real Estate Services Executive team. Audrey has been involved with the housing industry since 2003. Audrey first gained experience in bookkeeping and the intricacies of accounting as a Finance Planner for Corinthian Colleges & Delta Colleges. Audrey attended Portland State University, School of Business, where she earned her degree in Accounting and Business. She was a licensed real estate broker in Washington State from 2003 to 2008. She joins our team from Vulcan Design & Construction, Inc. where she served as their accounting manager. Her experience and unique skill set are perfectly aligned to serve the financial needs of our clients.
Accounting & Executive Assistant: Natalie Schubert email Natalie Schubert is our Accounting and Executive Assistant. She moved to the PNW from Arizona with her husband and son. She has an extensive background in providing information management support and customer service. She excels at communicating with and supporting our Accounting Specialists, Property Managers, and Property Owners. Natalie's passion for people and background in customer service makes her a true asset to the Accounting Department and the Sterling Properties Corporate Team.
Accounting Specialist: Alexander Fair email Alexander Fair is an Accounting Specialists for Sterling Properties Real Estate Services. He attended Central Washington University, School of Business, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Finance. He is a Washington state native and enjoys many of the outdoor activities there are around the Pacific Northwest. Including hiking, fly fishing, skiing and most outdoor activities. He brings with him knowledge of accounting and understanding of how finances work. He excels at communication, accounting and is a valued asset to the Accounting Department and the Sterling Properties Corporate Team.
Accounting Specialist: Jamaine Kanji email Jamaine Kanji is an Accounting Specialist for Sterling Properties Real Estate Services. He attended Washington State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Jamaine is a huge basketball fan and likes to play as often as possible in his free time. He brings with him a knowledge of business and accounting as he worked for his family’s CPA Firm where he gained an invaluable amount of education, experience, and skills in accounting & business operations. Receptionist & Administrative Assistant: Rebecca Siepak email Rebecca Siepak is our receptionist and administrative assistant. She is a Washington native. She has a general passion for working with people and is planning on getting her Real Estate License. Prior to working with our company she worked in the hospitality industry for four years and attended Clark College, where she worked towards earning her associate arts degree. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys spending her time hiking, taking nature pictures, and sketching artwork. She also enjoys exploring Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest with her family and friends. She is a valued asset to our team and helps us provide the best management services in the Northwest!

Founding Member: Andrew Sterling Hess (1923 - 2015)
Andrew Hess was the Key Founder of Sterling Properties, LLC. Andrew started Sterling Properties after retiring from his position as the Director of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Andrew's career as a State Senator and supporter of various organizations helped create and shape the housing industry in the Pacific Northwest. Andrew served as a member of the Higher Education Board of Washington and was instrumental in the placement of WSU-Vancouver.
